I'll go pay the deposit to secure our spot in the next little while (before Feb 1). But we should meet at the pub in the next few weeks so I can start collecting the cash for the players that can afford to pay early.
I don't like nagging, or making people on tighter budgets feel bad, so the more people that pay early, the easier it is on the other folk that need to wait for the right paycheque. Team spirit and so on and so forth.
What was it last year? Between $100 and $200, IIRC. They'll likely give me the price list when I go pay, so I don't have an exact $$ amount yet.
One thing I propose is the addition of one more chick. We need to have a pub night to agree on the size of the team. I know I don't mind sitting out a fair amount with my crap knee and my penchant for beer, but I know a bunch of you like to play every inning. Perhaps we can agree on how many subs we have, especially considering that on any given week, at least one person can't make it out.
What's a good night for a Pete's meeting? No sundays during NFL playoffs except Jan 31. Oh, and Aeneas... Think that we're getting sponsored again?
