This is bigger than the new Alice in Chains album being made, and I'm a HUGE AIC fan. Kim Thayil is one of the most underrated guitarists and he has been sorely missed the last dozen years.
These guys did nothing but make great records. Over and over and over.
Nice timing, I have been revisiting some old, more obscure Seattle bands the last few weeks and downloading some out of print albums that are just fantastic.
I say, since they share a drummer with Pearl Jam, that the two bands should do a massive tour together.
