You are, of course, conveniently failing to mention how Stronach was bribed with a cabinet post to cross. Certainly is different than two MLAs crossing to join the fourth (now third) party because of dissatisfaction with the actions of their current party.
That said, in an ideal world, it would be better if there was tangible evidence that the people in the Airdrie-Chestermere and Calgary-Fish Creek ridings support this move. If they do, then all power to them, though yes, going to a by-election would be ideal.
