I worked at Black's Photography during my master's degree - I enjoyed it quite a bit - there wasn't much pressure to constantly sell (though around Christmas there were some nice incentives to sell certain cameras). I was a fairly avid photographer so that just fed my addiction - good thing and a bad thing combined.
Overall though, for a retail job, it was pretty low key.
