You don't think you're making a MAJOR leap by suggesting a store or mall which has an UNENFORCEABLE policy of allowing hydrid owners to park nearer to the door than others is somehow discriminating against people who don't own or (god forbid) can't afford a hybrid?
If you really have an issue, do something productive and boycott the stores.
Why don't you direct your outrage towards forming a winning FB group - something along the lines of that group posting the smackdown that wannabee rapper got from the transit cops? I'm sure you'll find lots of 'like-minded' thinkers such as yourself. 
One last question. Do the parking spots some stores attempt (unenforceable also) to set aside for expectant mothers qualify as discriminatory too? If a couple is too poor or otherwise unable to have children why should they be denied access to that 'primo' parking? |
An expectant mother clearly has something that sets her aside from the general public. We are talking about two people with nothing setting them aside here but the car they drive.
