Domestic violence is wrong. The key is expectation in my mind. Men are usually much bigger than women. When a man hits a woman, that he is much bigger and stronger than, it is more of a crime than when that same woman hits the bigger and stronger man. Why? Because the expectation of the man is that hitting her would injure her. The same cannot be true of the weaker woman hitting the man. The situation can be reversed, of course.
