Default Windows Recovery CD's/DVD's

Hi everybody. I tried to google this, but I'm still confused. I was looking for a Windows Vista or Windows 7 Recovery DVD. I found a legit website that allows people to download ISO images of these to burn.

What is the difference between a file like this and a disk that's particular to a specific model of a pc or laptop?

Do the specific model cd's (EX - HP DV6200 Recovery CD) have those models drivers built into them?

If I use a general Windows 7 recovery dvd, will I have to download drivers afterwards?

Any help to distinguish the difference would be appreciated.
