post whistle scrums just make me mad. first off, i hate that if i do start some crap, all the computer players instantly pair off and cross check the living daylights out of each other. heck, i will start a fight just to keep from having to play 4 on 4 because of roughing calls on the computer. there is no sort of scrum around the net after a whistle. they should really work on that logic. additionally, if i do have a tough guy on the ice, i can rarely get to him, as the change player button just goes between the 2 guys closest to the puck. so i try to frantically skate away from the puck with everyone until i can find the tough guy. usually by the time i can do that the post whistle time is over. just makes the whole concept silly.

I hate the scrum system. I understand what they are getting at, but you're right, it doesn't make sense if I slash the goalie for the other team to start attacking my players that aren't even near the play. It should really turn into a ball of dudes all writhing around in a non-homosexual way.
Hopefully next year this is addressed. I've turned the ref reaction to minimal on this ... it was way too easy to draw out a powerplay. Want a powerplay? just take a shot at the goalie and let the computer obliterate you. It was too easy.
