I didn't see 2012, so the last blockbuster type of movie I had to compare Avatar was probably District 9 which blew my mind.
The Eli one with Denzel looks good same with Green Zone (Bourne movies are my favorite action movies so this should be good). Shutter Island looks to messed up for me to enjoy.

Imax probably would've made the 3d better. It was soo blurry when there was action scenes going on.
