People with positions of authority have always been "disrespected" by certain elements of society throughout all of history, it has absolutely nothing to do with "society these days." Teenagers rebel against positions of authority, thus people like police are easy targets for such brutal attacks such as hip-hop lyrics and violent, Hummer damaging snowballs.
