Didn't NEED to pull his gun? Are you serious? Gun vs. Snowball. He's off duty, has no badge, no markers suggesting he is a cop.

At what point do you propose someone should pull a gun in response to a snowball?

Answer: You can't see it in the video but it would appear his Hummer was hit with snowballs.

Do you really think it is rational to threaten a crowd with a gun in response?

The people who are paid to protect us, and who carry lethal weapons, should have at least average judgment. Policing requires split-second decision making in tough situations.

This officer demonstrated he'll threaten with his gun for nothing.

He needs a desk job.
