i had Conan set as a series recording on my PVR since he took over the tonight show, and just yesterday i removed it. i just don't find it that entertaining anymore. the monologues are usually lame, a lot of his recurring skits are just stupid (especially the vampire assistant crap), and then after that you just get the same vapid celebrity interviews and a music guest who 90% of the time i don't like.

a turning point in my dislike for Conan came when he had those ######s on from the Hills. half of his monologues up to that point were ripping on them for being ######bags, then he invites them on his own show? how incredibly hypocritical

now i've gone back to only watching The Daily Show and Colbert Report for late night comedy. their guests are always way more interesting and Stewart is an excellent interviewer in both the serious and funny ones. they also still have that late night edge that Conan lost when he moved to LA
