Yup. I watch MarketPlace every week.

Wendy did a study of which STORES knew about this policy and found that most stores did not. Even the ones that have signed on. They went to a Walmart and found something that rang in wrong. They took it to the customer service counter and claimed that their item that had a shelf price of $4.97 rang in at $5.97. Customer service said they would give her the $1 difference. She said no and said she, under this policy, should get the item for free. They called the manager, the manager looked it up and relented. It was the same story at several other stores that they went to.

I dunno how useful this is. If it were a $50 item that rang in at $80, I'd argue it. But if it was a $2 item that rang in at $3, I doubt I'd stand in line at the customer service desk to fight for my loonie and twonie.
