A year back I thought I saw on the news the Mayor claim 17th ave as the "Red Mile" and unveiled a sign saying Red Mile on a street corner somewhere on 17th. The sign was presented to Wayne Leong, owner of Melrose by Mayor Bronco, as far as I know this is the only sign and it's hanging inside Melrose right now.
