I didn't say that. I said that it forced me out of work for one day. There are these things called "weekends" which many people, including myself, have off work. It hit like a tonne of bricks on a Friday morning so I went home at noon, but then by Sunday night I was here asking how one was supposed to know if they were safe enough to go back to work. So all I missed was a half day. And a wasted weekend.
I probably should have stayed home on the Monday, but with most everyone else out sick, SOMEONE had to cover. And my thought process was "who cares if I'm contagious... who am I going to give it to? Everyone else already has it."
