I said I was interested in discussing it, I didn't say I was a PhD planning to give a lecture on it... Maybe I don't actually know enough about the topic and I was hoping to be able to read some clever insight from someone else? All I wanted to do was get the ball rolling by creating the thread.

I don't care if people profile me or not, but when they get it wrong, they can just admit it and move on without having to make it my fault.

As for the Mac Pro thread, what other way could I have possibly worded it? The processors being used in the upcoming Mac Pros have been leaked. If people chose to take that as me trying to say that no other computer on the planet will ever use one of these same processors, than that's their thing.

You can profile me all you want, but there has to be a point where people start taking responsibility for their own assumptions. You can't always just blame someone else when you make a mistake.
