You are probably right... the "golf world" will forgive him and "golf related sponsors" will probably do the same.... but golf is a very small part of the marketing world and Woods can kiss those other contracts goodbye.

I think you're being naive. They dropped him because of the devastating bad press he was getting. These corporations don't want to be associated with a serial adulterer, who has been involved with porn stars and hookers (or "escorts" as they like to call themselves these days).
