This is hilarious. What was he supposed to project? "Hi, I'm Tiger Woods, the best golfer and womanizer in the world". Everyone in the public eye projects an image that is partially just marketing. No one gives away the deepest secrets about themselves. No ones going to come out and do an ad that reflects their deepest flaws. If you feel deceived its because you are naive about what rich and powerful men (and women) can do and try to get away with.
If you found out the character flaws of everyone on your list of supposed "clean cut" and "honest" people, you'd probably be horrified.
