I do host through a third party, dreamhost, but I personally can't update my own sites or come to CP!!!! From home anyway....
Oh sweet lord I would never host from my own connection...
But yes, I made an awful error, actually my friend did, in cancelling our connection before the other was up and running....GRRRRRR.
