[Prototype]

The Franchise Reboot is common in Holywood. Batman, The Hulk, Halloween, Star Trek... all have been rebooted to some forms of success.

The Toronto Maple Leafs look to that formula to find some kind of success in the 09/10 season.

To start, GM Prototype checked him PMs, and had one from a source he doesn't talk to often: Young Guns.

It was a great lateral offer, which we usually don't waste our time with.

Byfuglien is the sandpaper we've been missing, and Kubina a reliable dman, now stuck with a bunch of not so reliable D men.

The rebooting continues. Ovechkin seems to be the soup de jour, but everyone has their price. There's been some talk with a western team about Savard. We'll keep our eyes on the waiver wire, and also try and find that jem on the FA market.

PS - Rich Peverly has been told by team managemet not to get too excited about being traded. He's stuck here weither he's happy or not.
