It's funny what Michael says in the above video about how when he read the final scene he felt bad for the audience. When it was done I turned to my wife and said "that was amazing, but I don't feel good". It was a hell of a thing.
I was wondering how they were going to deal with his family man persona and his killer colliding. All the sneaking off and time away would have to catch up to the character and at a point the family would have to ask more and more questions.
I thought it was interesting how everything crumbling was really due to him not following Harry's code. All season it bugged me that he wasn't following the code. He wasn't going after a criminal that the justice system failed, he was purposefully throwing them off the trail so he could have the kill. I didn't like that it was working for him ... I guess I got what I wanted in the end a little.
