The worst part about those ads is that Microsoft even made Windows crappier trying to make it more Mac-like.
Why is it that the first response to an Apple thread is always a PC user using terribly cliched, unoriginal sarcasm to show that Mac users are smug?

There are a tonne of smart, original ideas that come from Microsoft but the corner offices always seem to make an interesting idea into an uninteresting product. Things are changing there though with the likes of Ray Ozzy in charge of software. As long as they can concentrate on their core competencies and not chase every shiny new thing to come out of Google/Apple and poorly copy it, they should have some interesting product releases.

Microsoft products are becoming more "Mac-like" in that they are faster, more secure, and easier to use. Microsofts recent Win 7 ad campaign is quite good.
