I HATE spoilers. I try so damn hard to not let them turn me into a raging baby, but here I am. I avoid this thread like it's full of midget porn, but I had to hear god**** Newsboy Calsen on X929 say that the ending was "Effed!!". The thing is when you go through 58 minutes and nothing "effed" has happened yet, the ending is a little layed out there for you. I pretty much figured it out immediately. I totally would have been shocked too because every Dexter season ends with that music and him talking about himself. I'm conditioned to not get excited for the final Dexter scene of the season.
I apologize for coming off like a gigantic whiner, it just gets to me so much. I know I'm not normal, so no need to point out the obvious. I was just so close to not knowing anything.

that's why i avoid all live radio/tv if there's a well known show on my PVR i haven't watched yet. but even then i still got screwed with the Sopranos. i was still working in the Shaw call center when the series came to a close. before the finale aired though, Shaw sent out a staff email warning the customer care staff that if people called in complaining that their cable went out during the episode, they were to explain that it was part of the show. right there i knew what the "shock" ending was going to be and it made watching the final episode feel pretty meh
