I was oddly quite saddened when I saw Rita in the tub. I was always annoyed by her, but I felt so badly for Dexter.

Either way, I'm also glad that the character has reached her end...there was really not much else the writers could have done with the "Dexter is married and struggling to hide his alternate life from his wife" angle.
