this is the first year Playfair is coaching the Heat so I wouldn't give up on some of those prospect. I am sure those guys such as Palin, Aulie, Negrin, Cole and others will improve as more time playing in the AHL. I agree some are not ready for the big league yet but defenseman like the goaltenders usually get to their potentials when they are matured like over 25 years old. i guess the Flames future in defense are in the bright spot.
