These women making a profit is unrelated to the emotional damage to the marriage. 99.99% of the time the other person isn't making money selling their story. This is the exception, not the rule. Seems unnecessary to make a law that would impact a couple people a decade.
I think there are people who make a sport of seducing married people. They get off on the danger and intrigue. Unfortunately this sport causes a lot of heart ache. Your right that the money Tiger's mistresses made isn't normal but, it still isn't right. The law would simply allow the person you hurt to sue for damages. There would have to be evidence he or she knew you were married which would eliminate liability to strangers unless like Tiger your prey was famous. There might not be a law against adultery but, certainly divorce with its emotional and financial cost is a pretty big penalty itself.

If you can sue someone for saying something hurtful about you in public or causing you or your property damage through carelessness why can't you sue someone for messing with your marriage?
