To me it seems like a very safe move as you don't end up with a superstar player/s coming back but you do get 3 players that likely contribute to your team for awhile.
Compare that to the Phillies offer where Happ could be a number 1 but is less established than Saunders and the prospect doesn't offer the sure thing that Aybar is.
