Saunders is a proven commodity in the AL, Aybar would fix both the SS predicament in Toronto and the lead-off problem.

The main "problem" with the deal is that the Jays don't get back a top starter as it is thought that they want.
Saunders is likely a 3 with potential to be a number 2 starter on a team.
Aybar is good but likely never going to be a better than average hitter.
Boujrous is an interesting prospect who could make the deal a winner for the Jays.
To me it seems like a very safe move as you don't end up with a superstar player/s coming back but you do get 3 players that likely contribute to your team for awhile.
Compare that to the Phillies offer where Happ could be a number 1 but is less established than Saunders and the prospect doesn't offer the sure thing that Aybar is.
