My roommate was in the hospital for 2 weeks on the ventilator. I have never driven so fast anywhere before in the crappy weather we do because he couldn't breathe in the middle of the night from the flu.
My ex-girlfriend had it and was out for 5 days. She normally doesn't get sick but this one hit her insanely bad.
Other friend had it really bad, an extremely high fever she had to be put into the hospital or something along those lines.
