Except that the price you pay when your a public figure. Its also the price you pay when you promote yourself as a family man. Its also the price you pay when it comes to adding to your income when it comes to endorsements.
In terms of the press thing, this is absolutely a story, why? Because the public wants to see it, and to probably a less extent see Tiger suffer for it. The news papers would be really boring and probably out of business if they reported only positive pieces. The media serves the interests of their readers and the general public, not the privacy of a celeb because he hits a golf ball (and hot chicks) really well.
Its no different from the politician who rolls out his family then gets destroyed when he's caught cheating.
Personally I'm kinda old school around the whole cheating on the wife thing myself.
