Frankly, I think it's better for Tiger's rehabilitation campaign that Elin Nordegren is exiting with the kids. He was well past the point where he cared about her anyway, so let's just get that off the table.
Given the revelations we've seen - the sheer numbers - there was never any believable aspect in trying to sell Nordegren forgiving him and everyone living happily for a few more years.
Instead, with her out of the way, Tiger can have the tearful Baba Wawa interview or the confession on Oprah to lay it all out there that he deserved what he got . . . . . basically, try to go for the sympathy vote.
And, bonus points, he can go on boinking as much as he wants as a single guy.
How would you rehabilitate Tiger, aside from using a two by four?
