The reason she is in this mess is her own fault
now obviously she did not get a fair trial, the media in Italy completely vilified her right from the start
But if she didn't lie to the police on multiple occasions right after the murder, first saying she was in the house and heard the victim (her roommate) screaming, trying to push a bartender as the murdered when he had an air tight alibi, than finally changing her story to saying that she was at her boyfriends house that night. She might never have even gone to trial.
We will never know who actually did it because there wasn't a fair trial, but as the CNN legal expert said yesterday there was easily enough hard evidence and circumstantial evidence + Knox acting stupid to put her away, and people have been jailed for far less in the US and Canada
I have followed this quite a bit because my sister is in Italy on exchange now and she has been telling me the kind of stuff that has been going on over there. But based on the whole lying about where she was and everything else I think she did it.
