Of course, I am not totally serious... that it should be you, but I wouldn't put the fault on you for hurting the marriage.
I've been in a similar situation and when it came down to it, I just didn't think it would be worth the drama. It's not like it's that hard to get laid that any opportunity must be taken.

I agree that it takes 2 people to cause an affair. There's also the self esteem issues and great depression that the person who has been cheated on goes through. My sister battled that part for a long time when she found out for her ex was cheating on her. It was what did I do to cause him to cheat or did I not show and give him enough love. It was neither bit it took her along time to realise that. My niece and nephew were affected by it also. My nephew has zero respect for his father. It's shame those that decide to enter into an affair aren't aware of the damage they can cause.
