When we went to SF, going down was booked through AC but operated by UA, and we each paid luggage fees going down. Coming back, flight was operated by AC, no luggage fees.

So factor that in as well.

Thanks. In this case i'm looking at the opposite. It's an AC plane, but booked via UA.
