The family of the victim has a definate right to know the circumstances and the responsible parties that caused the death or injury.

This protecting the identity of the suspect drives me crazy especially in the case where they're still out there.

The whole protecting the identity of one of the white supremist bombers because he was a minor while he was on the run was ridiculous and stupid, they should have plastered his name and picture on every T.V. station and bill board across this country.
