The return of the Best Buy commercials with the re-enactments of overzealous gift receivers - the ones this year look all-new, meaning Best Buy must have thought or been told so highly of their others that they saw no choice but to film more - have been filling me with murderous rage since I first saw one on TV within the last couple of weeks. Hate, hate, HATE these.
Also driving me nuts are the Rogers commercials with the same stupid dumbass moron 20-somethings drooling over their phones that have plagued similar Rogers commercials for the last few years. I will give the one actor credit for finally cutting his hair, but his personality still pisses me off - perhaps the place he's searching for to "just... hang out" could be somewhere involving heavy traffic? Please? And I really wouldn't be too upset if the blond chick accidentally impaled herself with her auction sign. Eff off and die, Rogers.
And another vote of intense dislike for the Toyota "Did you know?" spots - if the goal with these was to have that obtuse nerd in the suit haunt people's dreams, mission accomplished... I sure ain't rushing out to buy a Yaris, though.
Sigh... why can't there just be, like, a glut of obnoxious ads preceding a program, and no more during, just like at the movies?
