The Globe and Mail did an expose well before these arrests back in May of 2009. I find it disturbing that this has been going on this long, and it's only now that the authorities have done anything. (Killing Them with Kindness)

As part of this some truly disturbing and shocking photos were taken. (you are warned) Most of the mistreatment seems to be focused around cats.

I used to think no-kill was a good thing, but after this incident, it's easy to see how that nice thought can be perverted into something absolutely evil.
