Hey I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Seemingly out of nowhere the internet connection for my PS3 is brutal. It still works but when I try and play NHL 10 online it lags really bad. So much so that people I play feel it necessary send me messages about how bad it is. I don't know why or how this occurred but if anyone has idea of how to help it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
