Police are investigating what they're calling a targeted attack.
On Saturday around 7:15 a.m., officers responded to a gunshot complaint in the 5300 block of Rundlehorn Drive NE.
When officers arrived on scene, they were directed to a suspicious device in a large parking lot located between two apartment complexes. The device, which appeared to be an improvised explosive device (IED), had been detonated.
Police evacuated the apartment complexes nearby while the Tactical Unit scoured the parking lot looking for more devices.
A second device was located that was also detonated.
Police are interviewing the occupants of the apartment suite where the devices were located as they believe it was not a random attack.
