I love ccleaner as well. Never had a problem and does a great job both in cleaning as well as the registry clean-up tool (or whatever it is called).

Same company has a great defragment tool. It is light and it also has a 'quick defrag' that does the big fixes, leaves the small stuff, and does it in 1/1000th the time of a full defrag.
