Well it's not like the ideas are unique, I've been wanting augmented reality since I was a young teen, and as he says the technology itself isn't that complicated.
It's how he's combined them and picked a lot of different use cases where this could really work that's so impressive.
Personally I don't like the projecting onto something, I'd rather have contacts that could overlay the images onto reality. Though a projector does let you share with others.
