My point being, if I were a QC fan and those 2 players missed an important game(s), I'd be very upset. Personally, I couldn't become emotionally invested in a team if I'm always worried our best players will get poached by the parent club, or get traded at the NHL trade deadline.

Remember QC never made the playoffs last year, thus some players were recalled when the AHL season ended.
