I would find out who this person is and then talk to them. Who knows maybe they will be reasonable. Honestly I doubt it. A reasonable person would not continually hit your car door. If they are not reasonabl then then file a police report. Get something on paper and official.
I am not picking on your specifically but why do most people start talking like they need to do something back to the person. Perhaps this guy is doing the same to you. Maybe he feels you are parking a little to close to him. So instead of talking to you about it he decided to ding your car a few times.
Anyway, like I said before. I am not trying to flame you. I am making a comment about the lack of communication in this world.
