I'm always surprised at how low AHL attendances are on average....I mean only 3 of 20 ECHL teams are averaging less than 3500 so far this year (Wheeling, Johnstown, Trenton), and the ECHL average is actually 10 HIGHER than the AHL (4393). The difference in quality/skill definitely isn't reflected in attendance numbers.
