Ya, mine can't access internet, messenger...nothing. But it shows that my AirPort is connected to the wireless internet.
I did try different browsers. I usually use Safari and it doesn't work there, so I tried Firefox and it's the same story.
I don't really know what you mean by accessing shared media files or hard drives. I don't access any hard drives or media files except for the ones that are on my computer.
The message just says that it couldn't open the page because my computer isn't connected to the internet. It doesn't say anything about proxy servers.
Your last question I'm not sure about either. Maybe someone who has a mac and reads this can answer that last one for me?
