I really am not sure what you mean by a new wireless network, but my guess is that you are hard resetting your router (or wireless gateway that Telus supplies) and are just reentering the settings for your network.
If that is what you are wanting to do then I am sure someone can help you, but in order to get a step by step guide, they will need to know what wireless hardware you have.
However, since you are still connected to your network but not connected to the internet, the problem seems to be located somewhere else rather than with your wireless network, but I am not an expert on Telus by any stretch of the imagination.

Honestly, I know so little about this crap that I'm not even sure exactly what I mean.
My first wireless network was my dogs name, then my second one was my dogs name followed by a 2 etc etc, all the way to 4. What I remember about creating a new wireless network was that it was on the telus website. I remember it being fairly easy, easy enough that I could figure it out.
My router is a 2WIRE 2700HG-E2.
None of this probably helps, but hopefully someone gets what I'm trying to explain. Calling telus and getting helpful information out of them has been a lost cause in the past.
