Default H1N1 stats as of Nov. 4th (BC only)

Some H1N1 morbity and mortality data on H1N1 (as of Nov 4th, only for BC), that's being circulated to physicians.

Notice that:

->20-39 years old is the second highest age group in terms of hospitalization and deaths. (page 3)

->No underlying health condition was found in ~40% of all cases hospitalized, ventilated or dead. (page 3)

->The trend (page 4).


Other things:

This is lab confirmed cases of H1N1; Outside of hospital most cases are being diagnosed on clinical grounds alone (which is fair, as seasonal flu is essentially nonexistant at present - currently if you have the flu, its H1N1).

The population of BC is roughly 4.4 million.
