I only have to start 3 WR and 2RB's each week. I loaded up on WR at the beginning of the year with the hope of parlaying it into help for my RB position. I'm 2nd in an 11 team league but LT has been a dissapointment and most of the guys I have at RB are matchup plays whereas I think I have a stable of recievers that are almost every week starters (particularly Colston and Jackson..). Avery is waiver wire material... the key here for me would be Slaton. I know that he's probably going to get split time with Moats this week.. but I seriously can't see him being dropped right out of the offence (due to his fumble issues) for a journeyman.
Basically moving depth recievers for a chance to upgrade my RB position if Slaton shows up. Thoughts?

I would do this trade in a second, especially given your depth at WR. But you have to handcuff Slaton with Moats. Moats blew up last week after Slaton was effectively BENCHED. So if he can't figure out the fumble issue, don't be surprised if his carries are limited. Slaton is a huge threat in the receiving game, so if you get points for receptions, you shouldn't even think about this trade twice.
Manningham and Wallace are at best, depth 3rd starters. You have enough solid WR's that you wouldn't need to even start these guys. And most of your big WR's have passed their bye week.
In the end....do it, but try to handcuff him to Moats, just to be safe.
