I can see why this guy's pissed. If you give him the benefit of the doubt, and just accept that he's won 5 times, then you have to understand where he's coming from.

If I had $17M owed to me and they held off paying for even a month, that interest adds up VERY fast.

Example: In a high interest savings account, (which is actually quite low,) you get about .75%/annum. /12 = .0625% per month. $17M * .0625% is $10,625.00 in interest each month!!
