Out of Character?
...Kind of like when Mitchell attacked Dexter because Dexter was taunting him with the ashes?.....That was totally out of "Character" and shows me that Mitchell deals with who ever gets in his way, when ever, and How ever he sees fit.

Again, I'm pretty sure there was language that went beyond the Anton theory. No big deal though.
As for Mitchell's attack of Dexter, he certainly reined that in quickly didn't he?
Two different scenarios. One (Dexter and Vera's ashes) is an emotional response to something that goes to the core of who he is and what he does. The other (Lundy) was a completely non-emotional but purposeful encounter with his hunter. I don't see the same reaction as a perfect fit with his profile or character or whatever you want to call it.
It coule be Trinity. It does make at least some sense. But I'm not convinced...which, again, makes the show great.
